Exploring Christian Dior's Exhibit "Designer of Dreams " at the Brooklyn Museum

“ My dresses make a princess of every woman.” - Christian Dior

After having raving success in Paris, Shanghai, and London, the “Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams ' exhibition came to New York City’s Brooklyn Museum. The Exhibit lasted from September 10 to February 20, 2022. My friends and I were able to attend the last week that it was open. This is the first time that there has been a major New York Exhibition dedicated to Dior since the 1996 retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The exhibition showed the exploration of the House's history of 70 years of work. The exhibition displayed the brand's history through 300 garments, photos, videos, sketches, accessories, perfume, and artworks.

Here’s a short collage of some the exhibits pieces.

Where or if the exhibit is headed somewhere next is still to be determined. Unfortunately, the exhibit is now over. I did vlog the experience, you can head over to my Youtube channel to check it out. And afterward, we checked out a local restaurant called Sweet Chick! And then afterward we headed to Soho to check out the stores. So come along with us on our adventure, I hope you enjoyed this video!
